Get out of the lecture hall, the library, and your apartment—and into the fresh air, exercise, and team spirit!
Move Outside is a functional outdoor circuit training program for all fitness levels. After mobility exercises and group games as a dynamic warm-up, you’ll work on strength, endurance, coordination, and speed at 10 varied stations. Each station lasts 60 seconds, followed by a 30-second break and transition time; the circuit is completed two to three times.
Workouts are often done in pairs: you’ll motivate each other and, if needed, receive easier or more challenging exercise variations. The workout uses your own body weight, as well as equipment such as jump ropes, cones, gymnastic rings, and elements of a calisthenics setup.
Please bring weather-appropriate workout clothes, sturdy shoes, and something to drink. Reflective gear is recommended at dusk. These are important precautions for a safe outdoor workout.
In case of very bad weather, we may move to an indoor location.
What to bring: weather-appropriate sportswear, sturdy sports shoes and something to drink.
